Meet Michael Solomon

Michael Solomon, President of Pro-Tech Security Systems. Is a former NYC Police investigator who has investigated thousands of crimes. After leaving the Police Department with 19 commendations for outstanding police work Mr. Solomon, who holds a Masters Degree in Public and Criminal Justice

Administration went on to become the Financial and Administrative Vice President of a 27 Million-Dollar Corporation. With both his police and administrative background it was a natural transition to the Security Industry in 1983, the year he founded Pro-Tech Security Systems.

Realizing that the decades leading into the new millennium and beyond would be remembered as the decades of service, he committed himself and his staff to provide the best service to Pro-Techs clients as possible.

Mr. Solomon, in creating Pro-Tech Security Systems, made a decision that he would treat every home he protects as though it was his own. " I have literally walked out in the middle of a sales interview with a potential client because they did not want to me to protect very vulnerable windows and doors or refused to include fire protection in a system I was designing for them. My sole mission in this industry is to protect lives and properties, not just install security systems. I cringe when I see people signing up for the so-called Free Alarm because I know that these companies are only protecting 2 doors and nothing more in a home.

Through his dedication to his clients, Pro-Tech Security Systems has become a leader in its field, winning the praises of National Trade Magazines and community organizations. In 1991 Security Dealer Magazine nominated Michael Solomon as Security Dealer of the Year; and, in the year 2000, the Rockland County Builders Association named Michael Associate of the Year.

Pro-Tech Security is very active in local charities and returns back to the community a large percentage of earnings. Organizations such as Camp Venture - a Local rehabilitation center for developmentally handicapped persons - Meals on Wheels - which provides meals for elderly homebound persons, are two organizations that Michael holds a position as a board of directors member.
